SILVERTON, Colo. (AP) - An ice climber has fallen to his death in Silverton’s Eureka Canyon.

According to the Durango Herald (https://tinyurl.com/mosb2s3 ), Mark Miller was guiding clients up a well-known route called First Gully and at some point was climbing near his rope when he fell on Friday evening.

The 50-year-old climber was an Ouray County emergency medical technician and a member of Ouray Mountain Rescue.
