AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Maine’s state parks will be open for campground reservations in February.

The state Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry’s Bureau of Maine State Parks and Lands says Sebago Lake State Park will open for campground reservations on Monday and all other state parks will open Feb. 9. Sebago Lake reservations are limited to four-night minimum stays only.

Commissioner Walt Whitcomb says more than 2.5 million people visited Maine state parks last year. Gov. Paul LePage says the state’s parks provide “year-round opportunities to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.”
