MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. (AP) - A Con Edison substation fire forced the closure of a Metro-North train station in Westchester County. But service is now back to normal.

Officials of the commuter railroad say the Hawthorne station on the Harlem Line was shut down Sunday at about 10 a.m. as a precaution. The Con Edison fire started just after 9 a.m. in a transformer about 15 feet from the tracks.

Firefighters used foam to put out the fire, and are evaluating the cause.

There were no injuries.
