MORGAN, Utah (AP) - A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of threatening to kill Morgan County sheriff’s deputies.

Cody Pentz of Morgan is accused of calling dispatchers late Wednesday night and telling them he had an AK-47 firearm and would kill any deputies who came to his home.

Deputy Ryan Dearden told Ogden’s Standard-Examiner (https://bit.ly/1AoxXf5 ) that deputies arrived at the suspect’s home to find him with a rifle and passed out from drinking.

He was booked into jail early Thursday for investigation of misdemeanor making a threat of terrorism.
