ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - St. Johnsbury officials are reviewing about 30 applications in search of the next manager of the northeastern Vermont community.

Outgoing Town Manager John Hall says the group met for two hours on Wednesday in executive session made good progress.

Hall says there are good candidates, but he declined to say more.
