BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) - Firefighters from 11 agencies battled a stubborn fire in the freezing cold at a former Green Giant plant in Beaver Dam.

Authorities say two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital. Fire broke out about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the building which currently was used to store boats, trailers, recreational vehicles and cars.

WISN-TV (https://bit.ly/14dn7NM ) reports fire officials say the cold froze the building’s sprinkler system and made it more difficult for firefighters. Most of the fire crews left by midnight.
