ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) - Autopsies are planned to determine the cause of death for two men whose bodies were found in a Rockford parking deck.

The bodies of the 40- and 56-year-old men were found around 6:20 a.m. Monday in a vestibule on the fourth level of the downtown parking deck by a facilities manager.

Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia says autopsies are planned for Tuesday.

She says both men are believed to be homeless, but below-zero temperatures might not have been the culprit in the deaths. She says the vestibule was heated and the men were dressed warmly.

Fiduccia says there was no visible trauma to the bodies, and police say they don’t believe any suspicious activity was involved.

The men’s identities were being withheld pending notification of their families.
