AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - The State of Maine Agricultural Trades Show is coming to Augusta from Jan. 13 to 15.

The three-day annual trade show is one of the state’s largest agricultural exhibitions and it attracts producers and consumers. Organizers say the event will include new technology, lectures and certification courses.

State officials say the state Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry sponsors the event and allows businesses and organizations to promote themselves on the trade show floor. The event is scheduled to take place at the Augusta Civic Center. Organizers say the event is geared toward promoting industry collaboration and progress.
