PITTSBURGH (AP) - Two Pittsburgh teens have been arrested and jailed on charges they committed several daylight armed robberies last month, including two during which shots were fired.

Police didn’t immediately release details on the robberies, but say 17-year-old Marquis Elmore and 19-year-old Ladale Coles are responsible.

Online court records indicate the robberies occurred on Dec. 16, but detailed criminal complaints were not immediately available. Those records did not list defense attorneys for either suspect.

The suspects were arrested Sunday when detectives saw that they fit the description of actors in the recent robberies. Police say Elmore had a stolen pistol with him when he was arrested.

The duo have been charged with six counts each of robbery, conspiracy and other charges.
