BOSTON (AP) - Jordon Talley scored 21 points and Addison Spruill added 20 to lead UNC-Wilmington to a 75-68 win over Northeastern on Monday night.

Freddie Jackson contributed 18 points and Chuck Ogbodo hauled in 10 rebounds for Wilmington (6-7, 1-1 Colonial Athletic Association), which shot 54 percent from the floor and never trailed in the game.

Wilmington opened with a 10-1 burst that included buckets from five different players but needed a 14-2 run, ignited midway through the second half by Talley’s layup, to finally break away. Spruill capped the drive with a layup to give the Seahawks their largest lead of the game, 60-45 with 5:06 to go.

David Walker led Northeastern (9-5, 1-1) with 16 points, while Scott Eatherton added 12 points and hauled in 10 rebounds.

Wilmington narrowed the series gap to 8-7 with the win.
