ATLANTA (AP) - Police are investigating reports that someone is shooting an airsoft rifle at moving vehicles in one of Atlanta’s most exclusive neighborhoods.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://on-ajc.com/1KhsYCF) that no injuries have been reported in the shootings, which have happened in the West Paces Ferry area of Buckhead.

Atlanta police Officer Ralph Woolfolk said that in one case, a van window was broken by a shot in the 400 block of West Paces Ferry Road Northwest. The Journal-Constitution reports that the address is about a tenth of a mile from the Governor’s Mansion.

Woolford said none of the incidents happened at the Governor’s Mansion.

An airsoft gun is a replica firearm that shoots plastic or metal projectiles.
