GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (AP) - A 21-year-old Gardnerville man awaiting sentencing on a drug charge has been arrested as a suspect in a vandalism spree that damaged more than a dozen homes and businesses the same night he was thrown out of the Carson Valley Inn Casino.

Douglas County sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Pat Brooks says Daniel Crawford was arrested Monday in connection with the Dec. 12 incidents.

Brooks told the Nevada Appeal (https://tinyurl.com/poxunr5) Crawford indicated he was drunk and angry with family members when walked from his home to the hotel-casino, breaking windows and damaging property along the way.

Brooks says after Crawford was evicted from the casino, he left another trail of vandalism on his way home.

Investigators say he was caught on surveillance video at one of the 15 locations with damage.
