FOREST GROVE, Ore. (AP) - A Forest Grove, Oregon, woman who bought Oregon Lottery scratch tickets as stocking stuffers for her family decided she might as well keep one for herself.

KPTV reports ( https://is.gd/TQKtWu ) that Melissa Nehrer’s ticket was worth $50,000.

She told lottery officials she didn’t have her reading glasses on and at first thought she had won $1,000. Then she put her glasses on.

Nehrer says she might plan a family trip with the money, or perhaps a home remodeling project.
