CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - More than 370 motorists received speeding citations during a West Virginia State Police crackdown on U.S. 119.

The targeted enforcement, called Operation 119, began Dec. 5 and ran through Dec. 31 in Boone, Cabell, Lincoln, Mingo and Wayne counties.

First Lt. B.M. Brown tells media outlets that 379 motorists were cited for speeding. Troopers also responded to 67 wrecks.
