SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Two Utah residents have tested positive for measles in larger outbreak being investigated in California.

Utah health officials said Wednesday that they believe the Utah County residents were exposed to the virus after traveling to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park in mid-December.

The Utah Poison Control Center is screening anyone who might have been exposed in Orem and Provo. The local health department has more information on exact locations.

Health officials say the two would have been contagious from December 27 through Monday.

Health officials say anyone who isn’t fully vaccinated will be asked to stay home for 21 days from the date they were exposed to infection.

The virus is highly contagious. It’s spread through coughing and sneezing.
