CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Wildlife officials are asking hunters across Wyoming to participate in the 2014 fall harvest turkey season survey.

The Casper Star-Tribune reported Wednesday (https://bit.ly/1xUdeSN ) that more than 1,100 surveys have been mailed and 729 have been emailed to resident and nonresident hunters with general and limited quota fall turkey licenses. This is the first year the harvest surveys are being emailed.

Wyoming Game and Fish officials say the survey is used to estimate harvest, hunter success and effort. It also provides information to help wildlife managers plan the next year’s hunting season.
