FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - A Gary man accused of fatally shooting a Fort Wayne tobacco store owner has pleaded guilty to murder and robbery.

WOWO and the Journal Gazette report Jamel Coleman entered the pleas in Allen Superior Court in Fort Wayne on Wednesday. Coleman was 22 at the time of the shooting of 44-year-old Antonio Lopez Nino on April 7.

A plea agreement calls for Coleman to receive a sentence of 60 years in prison. The deal still needs approval from a judge.

Court documents say Coleman was robbing the store and used Nino’s gun to shoot the victim.
