BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Department of Health says seven people in the state have died from influenza, which is an increase of six since last week.

KXMB-TV (https://bit.ly/1xMC5Gu ) reports the department also indicated that 99 people have been hospitalized.

Burleigh County reports the highest number of flu cases, with 638. Cass County is second, with 354.

Statewide, there have been 2,866 cases reported, 957 of them in children 10 years old and younger.
