COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A couple from eastern Ohio has claimed one of four $1 million lottery prizes from a New Year’s Raffle drawing.

The Ohio Lottery says James Patrick Wright and wife Lisa showed up at lottery headquarters on Wednesday to claim their prize. With 29 percent withheld for taxes, the Wrights took home $710,000.

The Zanesville couple, married 28 years, bought three tickets for the raffle. They plan to buy a new car, put a new roof on a parent’s house, and save some for retirement.

The other three $1 million winning tickets were sold in Barberton, North Canton, and La Rue in central Ohio. The New Year’s Raffle paid out $5 million in total prizes ranging from $100 to $1 million.
