BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Low temperatures with double-digit wind chills have led to some school closings and delays in Vermont.

A wind chill warning was in effect until noon Thursday for the state.

Wind chill readings were at 25 to 35 degrees below zero, capable of causing frostbite on exposed skin in less than 15 minutes.
