WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - Addison Spruill made a free throw with 15 seconds left in overtime and swatted away a potential game-winning shot to give North Carolina-Wilmington a 74-73 victory over Delaware on Thursday night.

Down 67-61 with 42 seconds left in regulation, Craig Ponder scored four points and Spruill two to send it to overtime tied at 67.

The teams traded 3-pointers before Delaware’s Marvin King-Davis made one of two free throws. Ponder hit a trey and King-Davis answered with a jumper to tie it at 73 with 1:19 left in overtime.

Spruill split a pair of free throws, and then blocked a shot with 1 second left to seal it.

Freddie Jackson had 20 points, Ponder 19 and Spruill 11 to lead UNC-Wilmington (7-7, 2-1 Colonial Athletic Association).

Kory Holden scored 25 points but had 10 turnovers for Delaware (1-13, 0-3).
