SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) - Orange County authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman recorded on surveillance video vandalizing a Buddhist temple in Santa Ana.

Police Corporal Anthony Bertagna said Wednesday that Buddha statues at Huong Tich Temple in Santa Ana were vandalized eight times between Dec. 16 and Jan. 6.

Footage shows the woman throwing objects, including glass bottles, at the statues in at least three incidents. Investigators believe she may be responsible for all of the vandalism.

The incidents happened at various hours of the day. Bertagna says some of the statues were chipped.
