WATERVLIET, N.Y. (AP) - A five-day workshop for veterans interested in starting, buying or growing a business will be held in the Albany area.

The “Boots to Business: Reboot” program at the Watervliet Arsenal north of Albany is being offered to veterans for free starting Jan. 26. Participants will be shown how to evaluate business concepts and develop a business plan.

Syracuse University developed the curriculum to introduce returning service members to business ownership.

It will be presented by the University at Albany’s Small Business Development Center and hosted by the Michael R. McNulty Center for Veteran Entrepreneurial Activity.
