LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police say two armed men wearing masks - one of a gorilla and the other a monkey - held up a Los Angeles boutique and made off with several pairs of shoes.

The Los Angeles Times reports (https://lat.ms/1BOBLWG ) the robbery happened in broad daylight Thursday afternoon on Melrose Avenue in the Fairfax District.

Surveillance video shows the men in primate masks waving guns at an employee.

Investigators say the men got away with several pairs of Nike Jordan women’s shoes and fled in a gray Nissan Altima with paper license plates.
