DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The U.S. Army’s Golden Knights are among the latest additions to this summer’s annual Dayton air show.

Officials with the Vectren Dayton Air Show say the 12-member team will travel from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in their Fokker C-31A troopship that will also serve as the jump aircraft. The Golden Knights are drawn from Army paratroopers who have demonstrated excellence in parachuting. The Golden Knights last performed in Dayton in 2011.

The show announced last month that the Air Force Thunderbirds will fly six F-16 Fighting Falcons fighter jets at the show to be held June 20 and June 21 at Dayton International Airport. The Breitling Jet Team from Dijon, France, also will perform at the show that typically draws thousands of fans to southwest Ohio.
