CARDIFF, Wales (AP) - Welsh club Cardiff will revert to its traditional blue home kit after the owner bowed to pressure from fans.

Malaysian billionaire Vincent Tan alienated some fans in 2012 by changing the club’s colors to red - considered a lucky color in Asia - and adopting a new crest.

But Tan says he has decided to restore blue as the club colors. So for Sunday’s home game against Fulham in the second-tier, the team will be in blue jerseys.

Tan said: “I very much hope these steps will bring unity, success and happiness to our club.”
