CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - A convicted gang member from Corpus Christi accused in a December slaying has been added to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s 10 Most Wanted list.

Records show 35-year-old Gilberto Garcia remained at large Friday.

DPS on Thursday announced a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the capture of Garcia. He served prison time for convictions involving assault, weapons and drugs.

Investigators say Garcia has been identified as a suspect in Dec. 27 gunfire in Corpus Christi that left one man dead and two wounded. He’s facing murder and aggravated assault warrants.

Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers has also offered a reward for information leading to Garcia.
