JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A $1.7 million state grant could help give the Snow King Sports and Events Center another face-lift.

Officials from Center Management say the planned improvements would help upgrade the facility for conferences and ensure the ice rink continues to operate.

The project would involve enlarging the upstairs mezzanine and improving the kitchen. The goal is to attract and retain more conferences to Jackson.

According to the Jackson Hole News and Guide (https://tinyurl.com/pcorwlp ), the project is expected to cost $2 million, with the town providing $300,000 in matching funds.

If it’s approved both phases of the project would be completed over the next two years.
