GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) - A stolen bicycle has been returned to a shop in Grants Pass after the owner posted a video of the theft on Facebook.

Don’s Bike Center owner Don Hendricks tells The Grants Pass Daily Courier (https://bit.ly/14DOYHH ) the $2,000 trail bike with oversize tires was taken from the downtown shop in a smash-and-grab at the end of December.

He says a few days later he posted a security video of the theft, and within two hours someone called to say they had an idea who might be responsible.

He passed the information on to police, and they arrested a 15-year-old boy.

Hendricks’ son, Ted, says by the time they removed the video from Facebook, it had been viewed 22,000 times.
