DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio woman who was passed out when her toddler daughter drowned in a pool has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and child endangering after pleading no contest to the charges.

The Montgomery County prosecutor’s office says 35-year-old Tara Seidel of West Carrollton was found guilty Tuesday and could get three to 11 years in prison when she is sentenced later.

Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. says 22-month-old Rylee Seidel-Jacobs was found floating in a condominium complex pool on Aug. 1, 2013, and died a few days later.

Heck says Seidel was passed out at the pool with illegal drugs in her system and failed to supervise her daughter.

Defense attorney Anthony Cicero says no sentence can match Seidel’s pain over losing her daughter.
