AMARILLO, Texas (AP) - Seven people have been sentenced to prison or probation over an online sex solicitation and trafficking ring in the Texas Panhandle.

Federal prosecutors in Amarillo on Thursday announced the sentences, including one man ordered to serve more than 10 years in prison. Two other people who pleaded guilty await sentencing following the crackdown in the Amarillo area.

The Texas Department of Public Safety in February announced nine people from Amarillo and Pampa were accused of online solicitation of a minor.

Seven pleaded guilty to attempted enticement of a child or attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor and recently were sentenced.

Aaron Joe Davis of Amarillo received the longest penalty. He was sentenced Tuesday to 121 months in prison.
