MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have apprehended a Ward County Jail inmate who went missing.

Twenty-eight-year-old Thomas Bott didn’t return to the jail from his work release job on Monday afternoon and was placed on “escape” status.

Sheriff’s Lt. Larry Hubbard says Bott was caught on Thursday. He was arrested without incident while in a vehicle.

Bott is in jail for a probation violation resulting from a burglary conviction.
