NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police are investigating after a man’s body was found in the water in the Bronx.

The New York Police Department says officers found the body floating in the Spuyten Duyvil Creek Saturday evening.

Officers pulled the man’s body from the water. He was pronounced dead when he was brought back to shore.

A medical examiner will determine the man’s cause of death.

His identity was not immediately released.
