NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - University police say a man accused of sexually assaulting a Vanderbilt student has been arrested.

Multiple media outlets report that a warrant had been issued for 25-year-old Troy Jones in connection with the groping and pushing of a female student on Vanderbilt’s campus Saturday.

Police say a female student told them she was walking on campus when the suspect approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground, groped her and told her not to make a sound.

Authorities say after screaming, the victim was able to get away. The student later identified surveillance footage of the suspect.

Police say at the time of Saturday’s attack, Jones was free on bond after being accused of breaking into an apartment in September 2013 and sexually assaulting a woman.
