FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A jury has been seated in the trial of a Fargo man accused of killing his roommate a year ago.

Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Hampton is charged with murder in the shooting death of 28-year-old Randall Doehner in June 2014. The two were cousins.

Hampton claims Doehner was trying to poison him and has pleaded not guilty.

KFGO radio reports (https://bit.ly/1HZygnU ) that the trial could last up to two weeks. Hampton could face life in prison without parole if convicted.
