PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are investigating two stabbings in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia.

Police say a 16-year-old was stabbed twice in the back while playing basketball at a playground around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

The boy is in stable condition.

Meanwhile, a 60-year-old man was stabbed in the arm around the same time on South Taney Street. He’s in stable condition.

Police tell WPVI-TV (https://6abc.cm/1K3VYzR ) they do not think the cases are connected.
