BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - The Coast Guard has rescued two people from Bellingham waters after their 13-foot sailboat capsized.

The two were taken to a marina in good condition Wednesday afternoon after they were plucked from Squalicum Harbor.

A nearby resident reported the capsizing.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Nicholas Grier in Bellingham says the sailors were well-prepared and were wearing life jackets, wet suits and helmets.
