TOKYO (AP) - Sanfrecce Hiroshima moved into first place in the J-League after thrashing Matsumoto Yamaga 6-0 on Wednesday.

Sanfrecce has won its first two games of the second stage, and improved to six points.

Two own goals in the first six minutes gifted Hiroshima a 2-0 lead, and Yoshifumi Kashiwa heaped more misery on the visitors with his third goal of the season in the 19th.

Douglas widened the lead midway through the second half before Kosei Shibasaki completed the rout with two late goals.

Elsewhere, first-stage winner Urawa Reds was held to a goalless draw by Montedio Yamagata, and Vissel Kobe moved into second place after a 1-1 draw with Shonan Bellmare.

Kashiwa Reysol beat Yokohama F Marinos 1-0, with Masato Kudo scoring midway through the first half.

Kengo Kawamata capped a three-goal second half as Nagoya Grampus overcame a two-goal deficit for a 3-2 win over Gamba Osaka.

FC Tokyo beat Albirex Niigata 3-1, and Kashima Antlers and Shimizu S-Pulse finished 0-0.

Yohei Toyoda scored with four minutes left in regulation to give Sagan Tosu a share of the points in a 1-1 with Kawasaki Frontale.

Ventforet Kofu and Vegalta Sendai finished goalless.
