PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say one man is dead and another in custody following an argument between two employees at an American Airlines facility near Sky Harbor International Airport.

Sgt. Vince Lewis says the argument Wednesday morning between two flight simulator technicians led to the fatal stabbing of one of them. He says the other technician is in custody and cooperating with police.

Details on the argument weren’t immediately available, and identities weren’t released.

Lewis says the stabbing occurred in an office hallway, not in the flight simulator area of the airline’s facility.

Lewis says operations at Sky Harbor weren’t affected.

This story has been corrected to show that the facility is near Sky Harbor International Airport, not at the airport.
