YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - A Yuma man is facing several criminal charges after an attack on a motorcyclist that was captured on camera.

The video has garnered widespread attention. It shows a man getting out of his car, punching the motorcyclist and shoving a woman who was a passenger. The video was captured by a camera mounted on the motorcyclist’s head.

Yuma police said the 51-year-old man faces charges of assault, disorderly conduct, threats, endangerment and impaired driving.

Audio from the video reveals the man was angry that the motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, had cut him off on the road. The motorcyclist is seen grabbing the man and pinning him to the floor before asking for help.

The man accused of the attack was injured in the altercation and briefly hospitalized. An investigation is ongoing.
