CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Two suspects are in custody after authorities say 13 downtown Chandler businesses were vandalized overnight.

Chandler police say 21-year-old Victor Osuna and 20-year-old Alfredo Jimenez were taken into custody early Thursday.

They both are being booked into jail on suspicion of criminal damage and third-degree burglary.

It’s unclear if either of the men have a lawyer yet.

Police say some properties along San Marcos Place and the alley in back were tagged with graffiti.

They say some tenant signage was also torn down, lighting systems were damaged and an office was broken into through the windows.

In addition, some computers, monitors and others items were damaged or stolen from one office.

Police received an alarm activation about 2:20 a.m. Thursday and the two suspects surrendered without incident to responding officers.
