SOMERVILLE, Mass. (AP) - State police say at least four cars were damaged when construction debris fell from a Massachusetts interstate highway overpass onto the vehicles below.

No one was injured.

The debris, described as mostly cement and dust, fell from Interstate 93 onto vehicles travelling on the McGrath Highway in Somerville just after midnight Thursday. At least one vehicle had a broken back window.

Police said the debris was not from the overpass or pre-existing infrastructure, but from construction work on the elevated interstate.

No roads were closed and the morning commute was not affected.
