ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s latest campaign finance report shows the Long Island Democrat raised almost $250,000 over the past six months.

The report shows the former longtime assemblyman spent more than $150,000, including six payments to Tucker Green Consulting for fundraising consulting that totaled $51,000.

The report shows a closing balance of $350,000.

DiNapoli is the state’s chief financial officer and sole trustee of the $183.5 billion pension fund for state and local government workers.

The comptroller’s office also has a staff nearly 600 auditors who examine state and municipal finances.

He was re-elected last fall to a four-year term with 57 percent voter support over Republican Robert Antonacci, the Onondaga County Comptroller.
