ATLANTA (AP) - Police are investigating shootings that wounded five people in a northwest Atlanta neighborhood.

Gunfire broke out inside a home on Center Hill Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. Atlanta police said an argument between people in two neighboring homes had turned violent. WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1I5hRwo ) that witnesses said the fighting was over a children’s football game.

Atlanta police officer Ralph Woolfolk says investigators are working to sort out what happened. Woolfolk says several children were inside the home where the shooting occurred, but none of them were injured.

No charges have been announced in connection with the shootings. Police have not released information on the victims’ conditions.
