LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Two search committees will recruit and narrow the pool of candidates competing for the top leadership role at the University of Wyoming.

The Laramie Boomerang reports (https://bit.ly/1Ka7xWb) the university’s board of trustees created the committees with the first intended to pick 10 to 15 finalists by December and the second to narrow that list to three to five people by mid-January.

A search firm to help with the process should be hired by the end of this week.

The finalists will visit campus and the full board will vote in February on a new university president.
