HARVEY, La. (AP) - Two men have been indicted in the April fatal shooting of a man in Harvey.

Authorities tell NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune (https://bit.ly/1J52DZ7 ) that Dorian “Rasta” Lonzo and Jvontae “Tae” Simmons were charged Thursday by a Jefferson Parish grand jury with second-degree murder in the death of Stacy Johnson Jr.

Police say Johnson was shot to death April 7 in the Woodmere neighborhood. His body was found in the street next to a car. A 19-year-old man also was wounded in the shooting.

If convicted, the 20-year-old Lonzo of Harvey the 22-year-old Simmons of Avondale each will face mandatory life in prison.

Two others have been indicted on charges related to Johnson’s killing.

Police say 19-year-old Kirklon Boyd of Westwego and 25-year-old Ashley Degree of Marrero are each charged with obstruction of justice and conspiracy.
