YORK, S.C. (AP) - Investigators say a husband shot his wife, her son and the son’s girlfriend before killing himself in their South Carolina home.

York County deputies released more details Friday about the July 5 killings, including that 50-year-old Randy Moore used his wife’s gun in the shootings. He had been convicted of bank fraud and drug charges in federal court and couldn’t own a gun.

Authorities say it appears Moore shot and killed 31-year-old Jason Lockamy and his 31-year-old girlfriend Lora Young before going back in the Rock Hill house and killing his 50-year-old wife Assistant York County Manager Anna Moore.

Deputies say they still don’t know why Randy Moore decided to kill the three people.

Authorities say the bodies were discovered by a family friend invited over for a cookout.
