GREEN RIVER, Wyo. (AP) - A man who pleaded not guilty to stealing $2,400 from Wal-Mart cash drawers while employed by the company is out on bond until his Oct. 5 trial date.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports (https://bit.ly/1LqCR1Q) 3rd Judicial District Court Judge Nena James set conditions of 28-year-old William McCormick’s release Tuesday during a hearing.

McCormick is required to keep away from Wal-Mart employees, stay in touch with his lawyer, Stan Cannon, and keep his contact information updated with the court as his trial approaches.

Court documents say the money was stolen from the store in Rock Springs between Jan. 8 and March 10.
