SPENCER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A man has been convicted of murder for his role in the home invasion and slaying of a 34-year-old western Michigan man.

The Grand Rapids Press reports (https://bit.ly/1Vb3Tij ) that a jury returned its verdict Friday and 22-year-old Isaac Fezzey will be sentenced Aug. 11 to life in prison.

A group of armed and masked men forced their way last September into a Spencer Township home, about 25 miles northeast of Grand Rapids. The men were after thousands of dollars in drug money believed to be hidden inside.

Brent Luttrell was forced into a vehicle, shot and stabbed. His body was dumped along a road.

Another man was sentenced last month to life in prison. Two others face trial later this year.
