KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - A registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl has been sentenced to 50 years in prison.

District Judge Robert Allison sentenced 40-year-old Justin George Jones to 40 years for molesting the girl and 10 years for violating his probation in a 2004 sexual assault case. He will not be eligible for parole until he serves half his sentence.

Allison also required that a week prior to Jones’ release from prison he be given hormone suppressing drugs.

Flathead County prosecutor Travis Ahner said Jones first committed sexual crimes at a young age and that he had as many as a dozen victims.
